Invest Ontario is seeking a Vice President, Strategies & Business Solutions who will work with the Invest Ontario leadership team to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to the development of Invest Ontario’s investment attraction/business retention and expansion strategies on behalf of, and for the benefit of, the Province of Ontario. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP, Strategies & Business Solutions will be responsible for establishing the investment priorities, attraction strategies, performance targets, and analytics for Invest Ontario’s business intelligence functions. A key member of the leadership team, the VP, Strategies & Business Solutions participates in the development of Invest Ontario’s business strategy, promoting cross-functional collaboration to both position Ontario as a top tier destination for investment, structure opportunities to secure strategic investments, and deliver an outstanding client experience for prospective investors.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of leadership in translating business and market intelligence, transactional due diligence, financial modelling, business valuation, and data analytics. With knowledge of private sector business operations and business development processes, they possess superior stakeholder management skills and a high degree of political acuity. They will be motivated and innovative in linking the evolving needs of a potential investor with the suite of tools and programs available through Invest Ontario.
