This is an organization that has very bold ambitions. They're bringing over 20 new medicines to the world market by 2030. We supported this investment through site selection services, we supported it by bringing the necessary stakeholders both provincially, federally and municipally, to the table.

Gaby Bourbara:
The 820 million dollars is a significant investment in Canada and really will bring 700 high talent, high scientific jobs to the Canadian market place.

These are the jobs that the young people are coming out of our Universities and our Colleges and they see a bright future.

That ecosystem is a great breeding ground for great talent, but also great ideas, and then great collaborations. Invest Ontario have been great partners to AstraZeneca. The energy and belief and confidence that myself and all of our employees have in AstraZeneca and Invest Ontario partnering with AstraZeneca to deliver for Canadians is really, really exciting.

Garret Tone:
For Ontarians to contribute of the development of new medicines and to have a roll in that for a company like AstraZeneca is incredibly powerful and as Canadians I think I speak for everyone in saying were incredibly proud of that.
